Burg Heimburg

The 13th century castle, with its 82-ft.-high tower used to be in the possesion of the Mainz Electorate. It fell into decay in the 17th century, but was later converted, in the 19th century, into a summer residence by Hugo Stinnes. It is currently owned by the Stinnes familt.

Not open to the public.
