The Domestic Offices in the south wing, which was always restored after every destruction, contained the slaughter house and bakery In the uppper storey, today mostly flats, was the tailor's workshop. In the wing adjoining to the north was the old kitchen, behind it to the east the new kitchen, built later under Karl Ludwig, with the tall chimney towering upwards. -- The "Weinstube Schloss Heidelberg" is an inviting inn and restaurant for quiet relaxation.
